So – I am reliably informed that I opened my WP account nine years ago.  Strangely, I was inspired today to get back to more regular participation before reading that congratulatory missive.

New Orleans informs all that this year is its 300th anniversary.  That reminded me that Albuquerque was 300 in 2006, Bernalillo in 1995 and Acoma Pueblo was extant in the 13th century.  The Hopi have lived in villages (Sp. pueblo) in Arizona for at least 1,000 years.  They say since time immortal.  Who am I to argue with that?

You, gentle reader, might think ‘Who cares?’  I mean to say.

I, however, find some strange significance in these numbers as I am planning my US trip and at age 70 my next out-of-country experience.  I do not claim this to be a trip or vacation as I might spend as much time as I am allowed somewhere other than in the US.

Of course this is all in the hands of fate, chance, the greater and lesser gods and saving a bit of cash.

And remember, no matter what future plans you might have, live in this moment.  It’s all we have, really.  🙃

So what does all this have to do with pictures on a photo blog?  Nothing, nothing at all.

Two unrelated pictures, each from their NOLA moment, carried forward. 📷  (One might argue whether time is linear and if I brought these ‘forward’)
