So will we become beautifully moist or moistly beautiful with that new soap you bought?

1
Let’s not get our hopes up at $1 for two!

2
Yes, and the color threw us too. We are not a fan of pink soap. Still, if if makes us beautiful we could get to like.

1
If wishes were fishes.

2
You certainly have put a lot of apps on our phone, do we really need all those?

1
Well, compass, walking odometer, avast, flashlight, accuweather, FB messenger, NFC easy connect, Google hangouts and dialer and voice for WiFi calling, Duolingo, German dictionary, Spanish dictionary blah blah blah.

2
Well, I guess. We will use that Google trio when traveling later on and the best part is it is free (in the US and Canada). Plus we get an actual phone number, WiFi only. We are just getting ready.

Now, about the moon making the earth bulge out on one side and squished on the other. And then having to add time to the atomic clock!

1
Yes, the moon does that and that is why we have high and low tides. As for the clock, the earth is slowing down, a few milliseconds every hundred years or so. Haven’t you noticed the 24 hour day is getting just a little longer?

2
Ah, no. I can’t say I have. Now, why did they make Australia a day ahead when the time we use, used to be Greenwich Mean Time? Greenwich, London, England. And how come the moon makes one rotation, exactly, for one orbit around the earth? Huh? What about Crop Circles? Sasquatch? Roswell? Huh, huh?

1
Well, no one lives where the line is, basically. Can you imagine if the line ran through a town? You would be Saturday and your next door neighbor on Friday. It’d be like, “I’ll meet you at the mall on Sunday and we can catch the new Wonder Woman movie” and then you’d have to figure which day in which theater and OMG, people would never hook up because someone would be one day early or the other a day late and – well, it would be a mess.

Anyway, now we have UTC time, whatever THAT is. I figure next we will just have cellphone time and all will be good, and all phones will auto-translate all languages and what we meant to say in real-time and we will talk to each other through our phones, exclusively. And then everyone would always understand everyone else and, well. You know, flowers and sunshine and all good stuff.

Still, the earth is slowing and we don’t have the key to wind it up, you know?

As for the moon’s one rotation/one orbit thing. It’s so Pink Floyd could put out that album, I’m thinking. You know, Dark Side Of The Moon.

2
Well, I’m not gonna worry about any of it. We’re good for another zillion years or so the way I figure and by then the sun might go kablooey anyway. Now about Leanne’s Monochrome Madness.

1 Yes, Melbourne is like 15 hours ahead of us, so we have to post on Monday for the Tuesday deadline so she can do her post on Thursday, which is Wednesday here and, well, whatever.

2
Yes, let’s just play some music, OK?
