(singing) Let’s do the time warp again, it’s just a jump to the left and a step to the right, put your hands on your hips-

(interrupting) with a bit of a mind flip you’re into the time slip. Yeah, yeah, I know. Look, it’s 2017 and Rocky Horror is so yesterday.  However, I like the bit where Brad calls this song a Transylvanian Folk Dance. It’s in one of the videos.

Um, right. For a moment there I was pretty sure it was ’67, cruising in our Pontiac Bonneville and playing Donovan’s Sunshine Superman on the car radio full blast.

(See photo at end. Looka the car!)

Listen, we didn’t have a Bonneville and the local am radio station certainly didn’t play Donovan. But a high school buddy had that album. It was def underground music in rural Wisconsin. They was hanging on to the 40’s, 50’s and pre-Beatles rock with great determination. They liked polka a bunch.

2
Well, we’ve never seen Rocky Horror we just like that song, right? But polka is cool too.

1
Yes, right, it is. BTW, I read something today that said learn the fundamentals so you can forget about them and be creative. Sounds like good advice for just about anything.

2
Yes, we also read something about how we are pushed (culturally) to give meaning to things that shouldn’t have meaning. Like, what we are stressing over today will probably be forgotten in six months so just deal and move on. We need to give meaning to things that will remain in our lives and just let the other stuff go. If it will be in our lives in ten years, we ought to accord it sufficient meaning. Also, we understand that some people don’t understand about enjoying the day. It’s like they have to take a vacation to take a vacation, if you know what I mean.  They are too wrapped up in ‘meaningful’ events  that actually don’t matter

1
Yes, yes I do. Let’s just post the picture, forego the music links and go fix lunch . If someone wants to hear the music they know how to access YouTube already.

2
Uh, it won’t take long to add them although I am a bit hungry.
